Video Archive Open!

It has taken me almost all day, but I have finally got the Video Archive open! I especially recommend watching our collection of interviews, it great to see what Georgie thinks of filming Narnia ^_^

All of the videos are zipped, and you will need to download them to your computer to watch them. If you have trouble making them load then you may need to download the latest version of Quicktime, which can be done for free: here. Happy watching!

Prince Caspian DVD Release Announced!

Disney has announced that it will be releasing the Prince Caspian DVD on December 2nd, 2008 - just in time for Christmas!

The release will include an audio commentary with the cast and crew members, behind-the-scenes documentaries, deleted scenes, interactive games and outtakes.

If you live in the US you can pre-order your copies now at Amazon.

A somewhat sporadic update today, but a fun one none-the-less.
Adrii has very kindly made a new wallpaper for us, which you can now see in the Art Archive, or by clicking the thumbnail below:

I have also gone through my emails and added a few new affiliates, so be sure to pay them a visit!

Last, but certainly not least; have you ever wondered where Georgie bought her beautiful green dress for the recent Paris premiere from? Well our forum member julc has found out! It’s from Topshop, and if you click on the picture below it will take you to a website where you can buy one for yourself!

Brand New Art Archive!

Simply Georgie is now sporting a brand new Art Archive! Here you can find all of the graphics donated to the site in one, easy to use gallery.

All of the graphics that were previously on the site have been transferred, but there’s always room for more. If you have made something you’d like to donate, just email it to staff@georgiehenleyfan.com =)

An Apology, plus Extras!

Later: As you can see we have a brand new layout up at Simply Georgie! This time made by me, I hope you all like it =)

Firstly, may I apologise for the recent downtime the site has suffered. My host was having a few problems, but they all seem to be fixed now. Thankfully Georgie news is quite slow right now, so we didn’t miss anything =)

My friend Flor recently donated two very pretty signatures to the site. Feel free to use them in our forum!

Soon to come, I have lots of video clips to upload, along with some screencaps and more images for the gallery. Plus a couple of quite cool suprises!

It has also come to my attention that this layout has been up for quite a while, and it’s probably time for a change. If I can find some time in the near future I’ll see if I can come up with something pretty to replace it ^^

Press Archive Open!

I have finally got around to completing the Press Archive for the site. You can now find a collection of articles and interviews Georgie has participated in there - the newest ones can be found at the bottom of the page.

We can learn some fun new facts from reading these! For example, Georgie’s favourite bands at the moment are Kings of Leon and Bloc Party - and she loves singing and writing music, which she plays on her guitar!

Just a small update today, with an added splash of excitement!

Firstly, if you browse the Georgie section of the site, you’ll notice that I finally added a short biography, and that Georgie was recently nominated by the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards as Favourite Female Star! So congratulations Georgie ^_^

I am going to be working on the media section of the site this weekend, aiming to get all the old articles and interviews, and video clips back up. I’m also calling anyone who has made any Georgie fan art (drawings, paintings, digital art), and would like to see it here on the site, to email it to staff@georgiehenleyfan.com and I will put it in the extras section for everyone to admire!

Last but not least, I received a very lovely thankyou letter in the post from Georgie today - letting us know that she recieved our birthday card and present. She even sent a lovely autograph on a brand new headshot/narnia still! As soon as I get a chance I will upload it for you all to see =)
